Do Bloomeffects products work on all skin types?

Yes! Our products are suitable for all different skin types. We test them on a variety of skin types and tones and incorporate that feedback into our formulations.

How do I know if a product will work for my skin type?

All of our product descriptions include a list of skin concerns that they target. If you’re still unsure about what might be right for you, feel free to email us at info@bloomeffects.com

Can I use your products while pregnant or breastfeeding?

All of our products go through rigorous testing and are safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Your skin goes through hormonal fluctuations and changes during pregnancy, so we encourage you to consult a physician before changing your routine.

What is the shelf life of Bloomeffects products?

All of our products contain the period-after-opening icon indicating the expiration after opening

Where can I buy Bloomeffects products?

Our products are available at Bluemercury stores, Bloomeffects.com and Bluemercury.com.

I want to uphold my environmental responsibility. How do I recycle Bloomeffects products?

We encourage all of our customers to reuse or recycle our products and packaging. Head here to find out exactly how to recycle your product.

Why does my Dutch Dirt Mask or Tulip Tint look different than what's on the website?

We use PICEA™ wood tubes made from sawdust from German carpenters. Over 95% of the materials used in our tubes come from renewable resources. Due to the natural makeup of our tubes, they may vary in appearance during printing.

Are Bloomeffects products non-toxic?

Yes! All of our products are non-toxic and tested for safety.

Are Bloomeffects products vegan and/or organic?

Our Tulip Tint and Dutch Dirt Mask are vegan-friendly and do not use animal-derived ingredients.

What does clean skincare mean?

Clean Beauty applies to products that are consciously created without any ingredients that are suspected or determined to be toxic/harmful to the body. Find more on our definition of clean, here.

Where are your products formulated?

We source our tulip stem cells from the Netherlands, and our products are formulated in the United States.

Do your products contain parabens, sulfates, or phthalates?

No. We don’t include any of these things in our formulas.

Do you test any of your products on animals?

All of our products and ingredients are cruelty free. And we ensure all of our ingredient suppliers adhere to the strict EU animal testing ban.

Is there fragrance in your products?

No. All of our products are fragrance free. Any scent is simply a result of the ingredients in the formulation.

ARE BLOOMEFFECTS PRODUCTS GLUTEN FREE?

While we use gluten-free ingredients, at this time we are not formally certified as gluten free.

Do you offer free shipping?

For U.S. Domestic orders, we offer free shipping on all orders over $75. We charge $7.50 for orders under $75. For Canadian and International orders, we offer free shipping on all orders over $100. We charge $25.00 for orders under $100. For France and Netherlands orders, we offer free shipping on all orders over $150. We charge $35.00 for orders under $150.

When will my order ship?

Orders will ship within 2 business days. Orders placed after 3PM EST will be processed the following day.

Do you ship outside of the U.S.?

Yes, we currently ship to Canada, The Netherlands, France and Australia. Please note all international orders are currently charged in USD, and Bloomeffects does not cover any foreign transaction fees.

How do I track my order?

You will receive an email confirmation with tracking information after you place your order. If you don’t receive an email, please reach out to info@bloomeffects.com

Tracking says my order was delivered, but I haven’t received it. Can you send me a new one?

We wish the shipping process were perfect, but we’re aware that orders occasionally go missing! Please confirm the delivery address was entered correctly. Check with your neighbors to see if they received your package by mistake. If you can’t locate your order, please contact USPS to investigate further. Still can’t find it? Send us an email at info@bloomeffects.com.

What is your return policy?

Bloomeffects will only accept returns on items purchased through Bloomeffects.com within 30 days of order receipt. All items marked FINAL SALE will not be eligible for return or exchange. To return your new or gently used online purchase, please email us at info@bloomeffects.com. Please include your order number, name, email address, and phone number. Please note your original shipping and handling charges will not be refunded. At this time, returns do require an additional shipping fee.

We do not accept returns or exchanges on international orders and shipments at this time, including those packages that are shipped to Canada.

I’d like to return Bloomeffects products that I bought at Bluemercury, can I do that here?

If you wish to return products purchased at Bluemercury or Bluemercury.com, you must process those returns with Bluemercury directly.
